The Bua Provincial Council in collaboration with the iTaukei Affairs Board will remain responsible for the “good governance and wellbeing” of the iTaukei which is inscribed in the iTaukei Affairs Act [Cap 120].

The Council will promote the effective and efficient participation of the iTaukei in the peace, progress and prosperity of our nation by empowering the ‘Vanua’ and the Provincial, Tikina and Village Councils’.

The Council will also monitors the development projects of the government in the province and attend to other matters in relation to the rights, interest, health, welfare, peace and order for the iTaukei people by also facilitating an integrated approach with the other stakeholders.
