The Bua Central College started in 1968 as a Government School then became a Bua Provincial School till date. One initiative is to have the school repainted. The school is currently is the process of organizing funding to carry out this project.

Bua Central College are also putting interactive boards in all classrooms and are planning on putting overhead projectors so that we can move towards e-learning. An initiative is also underway to update computer labs, science labs, industrial arts labs.
